MEXICO boas - Forest vs Desert

lrdj Dec 14, 2012 09:09 PM

FOREST

Tamaulipas, Mexico boas (F1) born 2009 (Gus Rentfro production). Interesting the color variation and pattern. Should be interesting to see the outcome when the F1 are outcross.

DESERT

Sonora, Mexico..... It's sad to see how this species has lost interest in the reptile market over the last few years. The pictures below depicts a few progenies born here.

Thanks for looking!

Great boas! I agree that many people have lost interest in the sonorans. I have some gorgeous sonorans, leopards, normals and hypos that most people love when they see them in person. Everyone seems to want the clean, pristine morphs... They see a pic of a baby and think it will look like that as an adult. The sonorans stay small but still have the boa behavior and physique, another great pet trait!
