Looking like babies

BoaGal Dec 23, 2012 07:36 AM

Fingers crossed that this girl is gravid, it sure is looking that way. Here is the pair, jungle x het albino

Some breeding activity a few weeks ago

I believe she ovulated on 12/21 (I guess she knew the world was not ending)

Not sure what the male was doing here. He isn't under her, which is what it looked like at first. The rest of his body is hidden under the aspen.

Yesterday, 12/22, she refused a meal

And today, she's curled on the heat

The male ate yesterday and I will put him back with her tomorrow just to make sure. I've had slugs from pulling the male too early...

She looks good. And that Jungle is absolutely top shelf. Who produced him?

Thanks, he was produced by Chaz Schilens. The original plan was to breed my sunglow to her, but he had no interest and the jungle was going to sit the season out...

Well you cant let an amazing CHAZ animal, especially a jungle like that just sit the season out. I cant wait to see the babies this guy produces because they are going to be some top shelf jungles.

I just tried to reply to the email you sent, but I got a delivery notification failure. You might want to make sure you have the correct email registered with KS. Here's what I was trying to send:

Thanks for thinking of me, but I don't have any Harlequins or really know info about them. I'm excited to see what my Chaz jungle produces and will be even more excited when I have some nicer females ready for him. He's been a great breeder so far, fingers crossed. Hope you get more info from someone else regarding the Harlequins, good luck!

Actually... that beautiful jungle boy was produced by myself here in San Diego. I have to give credit to Chaz as I got the male that fathered that litter from him so I was glad to see a holdback male end up back with him. Glad to see he is doing well for you, keep track of that offspring, you have a VERY special boy there!
