Probing Question

keng1111 Dec 29, 2012 11:57 AM

Hi, I am just learning to probe. I started on some of my juveniles and now I'm trying to figure what means what with adults. So, I have a 1100 gram ball python and the probe goes 3 scales deep on both sides. Would this be a female or a male?

I would appreciate any help. Thanks

IF you are doing it correctly...female....

...I haven't probed in awhile...I think my big females usually went like 5 or 6 even....males went like 9 to 11....

that suxx when they go 7....the in between numbers....always like popping...so I can see what I have....

....anyways...just make sure you don't use too small a probe and rip males or females.....

....good luck....(use mineral oil as lube )(KY jelly, like so many people use...has spermacides I think?...always told that anyways)
