Hi everyone,
My name is Nima, I'm a new guy on this forum hoping to learn from all the experienced keepers here. I have a large collection of GTPs and finally decided to get a few BPs. I always liked Bumblebees and Super Black Pastels, which influenced my picks. I purchased a male Silver Streak, a female Black Pewter, and a female Bumblebee, all '12 unrelated. I will post some pics when they arrive. I would like to hear from you guys if I made a good choice, specially if you have experience breeding these morphs. Also would like to hear advice on setup such as tub size, substrate, temps and humidity. I'm sure I will be on here with a lot more questions to come so thanks in advance and Happy Holidays.

as for choices...just make sure you don't interbreed the black pastel gene at all....they do throw kinks...

Thanks for the welcome and advice. So unrelated Black Pastels are Ok to breed, just don't breed sibs and parents together?

my opinion....black pastels CAN kink...
I bred a few blacks...got just 3 eggs from one female...got 2 super blacks...both kinked really badly...I pulled them from egg and put them both directly into freezer bag....they were that bad.....these were probably related somehow...same breeder...really good strong black line....
good luck....alot of blacks breed fine....
