Best of 2012 - post your pics!

Jonathan_Brady Dec 31, 2012 02:40 PM

Just like the title says, post your BEST PICS OF 2012 right here!

I'll start!

That was all January - May, and now we're up to June 1st...

The lighting on this one may not be great and the focus may not be super sharp, but it's still a pretty cool picture

Me holding Rose. Not the greatest picture, I'm dressed in "bum around the house" clothes, and she wasn't looking her best by any means - but I realized I didn't have any pics of me holding her and had to fix that immediately!

So, that's it for the boa pics for the year. On to something else...

Stef found this little guy/gal clinging to life by hanging on our thermometer which got stuck in the dirt trap in the pool and was spinning around furiously for who knows how long! lol

Here's one of our Siberian Husky doing what she loves the most... RUNNING!

...and then there's Kyla...

When my wife was pregnant, every night before bed she'd put that musical seahorse on her stomach and play it twice for Kyla. The first time, Kyla would perk up a little bit and get a little more active. The second time, she'd calm down and (I assume) fall asleep. I looked forward to this time every night as I'd lay in bed next to Stefanie and rub her stomach as the music played. That night, I was in my office and Stef was waiting on me to go to bed - I came out of my office and found Stef sitting on the floor under the stairway in between the dining room and kitchen with the seahorse on her belly. Seeing her like that in bed would always make me tear up (I'm a sentimental dude... I admit it), but seeing her like that... waiting on me because I was too busy working to come to bed - that messed me up and made me realize that my priorities were all out of whack. But, it was also an incredible opportunity for me to create a memory of such a sweet and important moment - so I snagged my camera and got this...

A few more commemorating our baby girl

At the hospital the day she was born

The day we brought her home

Her more recently

Christmas morning - with a nosey Maya behind her

Hope ya enjoyed and I can't wait to see y'alls pics!

What's written above is purely my opinion. In fact, MOST of what you read on the internet is someone's opinion. Don't take it too seriously

Awesome pics as always JB. Our computer crashed recently but here are a few of our favorite pics. Not specifically best quality but some are best sightings. Thanks for sharing and great post idea.

Probable Super Sunglow that we raised from a baby

Double Dose Orange Tail Hypo Harlequin courting a Coral Albino hoping for our first few Harley litters in 2013

Getting to see an animal we raised from a baby breeding a big snow was a great sight for us. 2013 may also be our first litter of albinos and sunglows.

CA Motley het Kahl Albino het Type 2 Black eyed Anery and Double Dose Orange Tail Hypo Harlequin probably super double tail wrapping a coral albino.

A nice big ovulation from a calico harlequin.

We have been trying for 2 years or so to get this arabesque girl bred and she finally ovulated for us from being bred by a Pink Panther VPI t positive male.

Crimson Pastel with an 8 year old point and shoot kodak easyshare.

Thanks for looking everyone. Cant wait to see all the new VPI morphs from this year posted. Hint Hint Tony Antonucci, Manny, and GreenAnt.

I got lucky and had a great season, here are a few pics of my baies I made in 2012.

A male VPI Sunglow Harlequin, he has REDICULOUS amounts of color in him!

Just my opinion.... This is the nicest VPI Sunglow in existence. She's a Possible Super VPI Sunglow Harlequin. But lets be honest, look at her, she HAS to be a super.

I wish to god I wouldn't have let this VPI Sunglow Motley girl go..... =(

Normally I wouldn't keep a possible het, but this next girl was just way too coolto let go! A possible super hypo harlequin 66% het VPI.

That's it man. That was just the tip of the mountain for the year you had. I know I know, it would take you hours to post all the crazy animals you produced this year. One sunglow motley in particular I thought you would have definitely included. Lol.

Thanks for sharing The Nooch. Always a pleasure to see your charges.
