I think my tinc may be sick.

NateW. Oct 06, 2003 06:41 PM

Hi everyone,
I'm pretty freaked, for while my female tinc has had a white/grey spot on her back, very small, smaller than a pin head. Today i was checking my frogs and the spot seemed minutely bigger, but still smaller then the head of a pin. What should i do, iim going to contact doctor frye and see what he says. I suspect that it may be fungal, but i'm not a doctor.
thanks for any help

He will take care of you, I am treating one of my Azureus right now with oinment and bytril. So it has not gotten worse, but hard to tell if it is getting better. It has only been a few days. My male azureus has a patch on his back that looks kind of gray. It is hard to see, but just looks discolored. Dr. Frye said it looks like something had broken or scraped the skin and that is may or may not be infected. So I am treating it and crossing my fingers. My azureus are too cool, I can't lose one of them.

I hope he does better nate.

dont mean to highjack your thread, kyle; about how much does it cost to treat your frog, including shiping, meds, etc, total?

just curious.

Not a problem, I think my total was $41 with shipping, but it should be enough for a long time. So i will always have it on hand. Dr. Frye was great I can not say enough about him really. Very helpful and took time out of his busy day to return my e-mails and even take my call when I called to pay.
