This is an adult male we now have in our collection to try out with our two axanthic females. His name is BDP.
Male axanthics seem to be exceeedingly rare and to our knowledge there are about 6 males that we have been able to track down in US collections. We believe this is the only breedable male at this time. There is also one sub adult, almost breedable sized axanthic male in Italy.
Anyone else know of any other male axanthics in the USA?
Hope ya like the pic...it's blurry and he actually is more blue in color than the greens that showed up in the pic.
