SUNGLOW Boa Kahl or Sharp

kcorrenti Jan 20, 2013 09:03 AM

I'm looking to buy a 4 foot female Sunglow Boa thats about 3 & a half years old. She is colored beautifully! How much should I pay for her.... like what's a low and high price range I'm looking at? I've never bought a snake before and know very little about pricing. And can anyone tell me if this is a kahl or sharp strain?

Young Kahl sunglows usually go for around 4-450 as babies. Even if that snake is Kahl strain, it's gonna be expensive. Kahl strain usually fades in color while sharp will retain color, the only way to be sure it to breed her when she's big enough

So, this sunglow at around 4 feet and a little over 3 years old is worth about $700?

I'd say so, it could be breedable in a short amount of time and you can easily make that back with the right pairing, say a motley het or a jungle het male. Just be sure it doesn't have any health problems
