Clown question...

geckoejon Jan 29, 2013 09:56 AM

Hello,
I was wondering about passing on the clown pattern. Do low pattern parents typically have low pattern offspring? Do some heavily patterned throw some heavy and some light patterned? Is there a trend or not typically known until bred? Thanks...

the reduced pattern clowns produce more and more reduced pattern offspring. sometimes you will get a reduced animal from normal clowns but much better and more predictable results from reduced parents. E

thanks! that's what i figured, but wanted to make sure. i have a nice female clown that has a full pattern. i will be on the lookout for something reduced to put her with next year.
