It looks like I'm on the way to adopting a rescue iguana. Well, it's my first iggy, as well. He's not an adult yet, but I'm building his cage for adult size, planning to keep the same cage indefinetly. I'm planning a 4' wide - 4' tall - 3'/4' wide cage. Are those going to work? (He's a male, btw, I believe) I'm going to use a PVC frame, with coated wire mesh held on by cable ties.
For food, I'm going to use one of Melissa Kaplan's numerous iguana diet recipes. Any ones that are particularly good versus others?
Also, my final and primary point, does anyone know of a checklist I can go down? I don't want to forget something at the last moment, even though its 2-3 months away.

(OR BIGGER!!!) the 4foot is too small for an adult...
