Yes your Peruvian Boa Absolutely has that appearance IMO . . . . . . . . . . so yes I agree . . . .
There are many Basin Peruvian Boas that have the unique aberrant pattern and even the special creamy tail that are reminiscent of Jungle Boas . . . . . .
These are all contributing factors that lead me to believe the original Jungle Boas in that Swedish Zoo
Lars Brandle acquired his aberrant Boa stock from.
Those Boas in that Swedish zoo must have had an origination point in the Basin area . . . . .

Even if they were Colombian Boas they most likely have lineage going back to the Peruvian Basin ancestry . . . .
I've believed this for a very long time now and wish we could track it chemically/genetically . . . . . . .
The early Jungles produced had the longer more narrow heads as seen in Peruvian Boas . . . .
The Original Jungles had smaller higher scale counts . . ..
I think it's a no brainer that their mutation originated in that Amazon Basin area !
I believe your observation to be astute and definitely in line with my school of thought !
Very beautiful Pucallpa Peruvian Boa !

Larry - Quote: Even if they were Colombian Boas they most likely have lineage going back to the Peruvian Basin ancestry

Ahhhhh but Of course . . . . . Of course the Fine Lines Via Ronne . . . Via Hammond . . . if I remember correctly,
it was you who purchased from someone who acquired via Ronne
. . . . . .
Indeed they look like Basin / Peruvian Bopas to me . . .an interesting projecting thaty really hasn't been taken in enough directions . . .
I've said it before I'll say it again I always wanted to intercross Fine with arabesque . . . .
So many Arabs are such slow growing Boas, with the Head spear among other characteristics . . . . . .
I've always wondered if their heritage was Colombian via Tumbes Peruvian . . .
The Longtails have many of these characteristics from my undrstanding of them
. . . . . . . .
Talking about Boas never gets old . . .Don't you just Luv it Orlando . . . I know I do Love it beyond words !
