I have heard this many times...The first time I heard it I thought for sure my snake had an RI.....Turned out it was from his head swimming around in the water.....That is usually the reason.....I have never had an Illness in my collection and I have heard many of my snakes whistle when breathing....Keep an eye on the snake though....If mucus bubbles start showing up from their mouth or nostrils, you may have a RI......Good luck...

I bet that could be it because he was near the water
Bowl. I will look out for mucus thanks for that info!

RI is very contagious.

Does it do this regularly and did it shed recently? Usually I get this after a shed, especially if it was not a good one. If the snake is acting and eating normally I wouldn't worry, if not I would isolate it to be safe. This time of year sheds can be tougher with the lower humidity level.

I only heard this one time and not after a shed. I'm keeping an on him but he looks fine. Thanks for your post.
