Freaks and Paradox Albino

herpvenue Feb 14, 2013 01:14 AM

Parturition 2/13/13
Male: Motley dh snow
Female : Snow

other male: Sunglow (hypo, albino) I think the motley did it.

Baby : 2 Paradox Snow / Freak, 1 Paradox Albino, 1 Paradox Snow/ Albino (Top half looks snow, bottom half looks albino - Squished by the mom)

Freaks and Paradox Albino

Paradox Snow/ Albino (Top half looks snow, bottom half looks albino - Squished by the mom)

Just a shot before I moved them.

I am hoping this is genetic. What are the odds that each and every single snow/ albino comes out like this?
Another strange thing. I only got one motley from this litter.

That's pretty crazy stuff! I'd try that pairing again for sure. You might have had a better motley count due to the number of slugs, I guess you'll never know! Awesome tho

Those are sweet paradox you have produced there. Best of luck with them.

I'm sorry about the squished one, but those Paradoxes really look great!
Congrats and I hope it turns out to be genetic for you.
Thanks for posting the results. We have a lot to learn about what's going on with the Paradox snakes.

That is very cool I hope one is a male and the other two are female for you. I love the look of the Paradox albinos and sunglows. Can't wait to see them after they shed for you, your snow should look very cool. Your snow reminds me of Ralph Davis Freak boa. I have one male paradox sunglow from last years clutch that I kept. He seems to be getting more black speckling on him as he gets older. I am doing the same breeding this year again and I hope to produce a few more paradox boas.

Take care
Tom
