the National Enquirer traveled the globe to see how people from different countries reacted to the news. In Canada, one citizen, identified only as "Canook" explained "although I don't condone what France and Germany's are doing, I believe that the Americans are arrogant and I'd rather not pass judgement on the French and Germans". In the jungles of South America, an Englishman looking for Hedgehogs had this to say: "I'm not Anti-American, but Americans use far too much oil, they have polluted the planet and have no concern for the environment, so maybe there's a reason why the terrorists are now training in France and Germany. The US should ask themselves why everybody hates them, all though I myself don't hate them." One unemployed fellow in San Diego, who went by the name "sobek", complained that his own President was to blame for the Bio-Chemical Labs, and France and Germany's animosity toward the US, citing that the Bush family had secretely contributed heavy contributions to the French and German governments in their respective programs for the construction Bio-Chemical Lab production facilities. "sobek" also intimated that Bush's personal lust for oil was the driving force behind these covert operations which, ultimately, were designed to enrich the President at the expense of the US Taxpayer. Finally, the journal interviewed an Englishman living somewhere in Scandanavia named Steve B.S., and he had this to say about France and Germany: Americans are rude!
