breeding sharpe and kahle strain ?

I was told u cant breed these two together, why is that?

They are incompatible strains, you can breed them, you just won't produce a visual animal.

And the real nightmare comes after another generation or two knowing what you have without producing more unknown animals since you can't tell the visual Kahls from the visual Sharps.
