...produced a hypo boa woman caramel. i would think so for sure, but i cannot find anything on these. if so, pics? also, why is it that the VPI line seems so much more widely available...i mean, sharon produced hers, what, fifteen years ago? i would just think that there would be so much more done with them. what are your opinions on this? i think the VPI combos are prettier on average, but i have seen even VPI t pos animals that as adults, look like nice normals almost... i have seen smoking adults in both strains also...

Bwc's do not have the red eyes because they allow some tyrosinase, t neg removes all black resulting in the red eyes. A lot of people have been working with vpi because bwc's tend to brown out more , but I like bwc more specifically my bwc which I believe is one of the best I've seen, plus I also like the interaction with the sharps. Hopefully I will get some super jungle or jungle paraglows this season. Plus the fact that the pink panther trait is linked to the vpi's helps which I think essentially is just a pastel trait along with them.

i know all aboutthe tyrisinase, and that it is a chemical that is responsible for the melanins...but the VPI t pos have red pupils, i was just curious why the BWC does not. lets see some pics of yours!

Hypo Boawoman caramels have been produced I believe. I think Mike and Basically Boas did it a few years back.

Personally I think there are a lot of low grade Boawoman caramels out there, that have resulted from poor selection of breeding stock and the need/greed to simple produce. A good quality Boawoman caramel is outstanding.

Here is mine at 3 years old:

i agree about the high number of low quality BWC animals. yours is beautiful. i think mine is one of the nicest ones, if not the nicest one i have seen. i would love to post pics, but photobucket is not working for me, i was hoping Lar would post up the pics i emailed him. my male is really nice, bold markings, great colors, and SUPER high contrast.

...and honestly, most BWC that i see are not that good looking at all, maybe that is why they are for sale. lol. i like the high contrast animals, with good color, not the muted browned out animals that look like a dirty normal. just my opionion.

Hypo BWC's do exist . They were labeled as " Citrones" , I don't know if the name stuck though.

I think BWC's are an awesome Boa , and I couldn't wait to get one back in '08 . Here's my 08 male with a normal phased . I don't consider him to be "brown'ed -out" .
