Fenbendazole is effective on a variety of parasitic worms; however, it is not very effective against tapeworms (and a few other species of worms). Usually, Droncit(Praziquantel) is used for the treatment of tapeworms. Before using any parasiticide, the type of parasite needs to be identified before treatment is started. Doseage is typically determined by weight of the animal.
