compasscreek Oct 06, 2003 11:05 PM

my wife picked up a can of minerall without D3 and a couple umbrellas for me today while i was busy working on the garage. she also picked up two 2 week old flapnecks. she said "they are so cute and small i like them so i bought them." so now what do i feed 2 week old flapnecks? are pinheads OK or to big? is care any different then other nosey bes or sambava?

man we've gone from 1 chameleon to 5 just about overnight and i still NEED(LOL) one more!

Dang.... Having your wife bring home chameleons is a good problem to have. I have never had flapneck chameleons (wish I did though) but 2 weeks old is very small! I would go with the smaller fruit flies or maybe pinhead crickets, I don't know how big a 2 week old flapneck is, but a newborn panther or veiled can handle the Hydei (larger) fruit flies, so I think a young flapneck would be ok with the smaller ones or pinhead crickets (less than 1 week). You can get them at Wormman.com and it's pretty easy to get a few colonies of them set up to get you a constant supply.
