I found this pair of locale sp. Eastern Kings locked up this afternoon. I love the large clutches she throws. I think last season was 26 eggs, and maybe 24 the year before.

I've always really liked your Rowan County locale Easterns Shane. Good luck with producing some more of those nice phenotypes.

Nice. Here's the 2011 male I got from you in the rowan county trio. I especially like the moderately wide and pretty clean chains. The females had narrower chains. Maybe some day you could send me a pic of the spot (non-identifiable, of course) they came from: I like having habitat shots with my snakes when possible, it makes me value them even more.

That is a REAL nice looking Eastern getula. Those Rowan County, N.C. he has are definitely one of my favorites!

Look at the markings on the head of yours, and look at his fathers markings:

That's amazing. Thanks for sharing. FWIW, the females' head markings were different. In fact, I usually try to sketch a few distinguishing characteristics on each animal's cage card, and this trio's instance, I drew the different head markings because they were easy ways to distinguish each of the three. Other times it's notations that "bands 7, 14 and 22 are broken," or "rings 8 and 9 form a Y on the left side," things like that. The similarity in these two heads really is remarkable. I'm told I look a lot like my dad when he was my age.
