moonglow boa question

olive_oil Mar 05, 2013 07:08 PM

From what I have learned (through online research) is that a sunglow is created from a hypo x albino, a snow is created by anery x albino, and that a moonglow is created from albino x hypo x anery. My question is can a moonglow be created by a sunglow and snow breeding? Thanks.

The sunglow would have to be het for anery.

As long as the sunglow is het anery then yes.

To help clarify....

Moonglow is Anery, Albino and Hypo

Anery and Albino are recessive traits

Hypo is a dominant trait

Recessive traits require BOTH parents to pass on a single gene. So parents can be het x het, het x visual or visual x visual

Dominant trait only requires only one parent to pass on a single gene. With two genes is called a Super so parents could be Het x normal, het x het, Het x Super, Super x normal or Super x Super
