Is it necessarily good to have more than 1 snake in a cage?
Are they happier that way?
Are they more active in the cage if more than one resides in the cage?

generally best to house snakes individually
-----
...and I think to myself, "What a wonderful world."
I hear people say that you shouldnt house more than 2 corns together and other people say hause them individually. However i house three snakes together all of about the same size and they do fine. Just know each snake and how it acts so that you dont end up with and trouble. Also now the sex of the snakes so that you dont accidentally end up with a clutch of eggs.
I'm sorta on my own with this but I keep all 10 of my corns together. They're all different sizes and ages, and I have 6 males in with 4 females. None of them are full grown yet and my females arent old enough to breed so no worries about surprise clutches! But, there are concerns, like if you do house individually you can isolate infection, and also track their feeding schedule much better. Like, if one regurges, you know who did it as opposed to wondering whodunit? Another concern that people had when I was asking the same thing you are now, was if I have hatchlings in with older corns will they eat them. Most said no, but you cant guarantee everything. Now I have 2 year olds in with 1 month old hatchlings and they do fine. So it's really just a preference. Some people say it actually stresses them out, but mine actually benefit from it and get used to being touched so they're not a jumpy. (Sorry so long of a reply!)
