Cool pic. I like how you can see the head of the other one peeking out. How many snakes are in there?
Cool cage too.

Ha!
I didn't even notice the other one when I took the quick Iphone shot. Lol
Right now the small one disappeared and a larger female is having a feast!
I have 1.3 in there. They are just beginning to move around again. I'm always surprised at how they don't look thin after not eating a lot over the winter.

That's cool! I guess everyone gets enough since it looks like the plate was well filled.

I wasn't sure if the message I sent you sent correctly ...... let me know if you got it
Here is the message I sent you:
Hi, Adam,
I treat the lizard eggs just like the snake eggs, incubating in a medium of half perlite half vermiculite at about 80 degrees F for approximately 55 days. I carefully place the lizard eggs nested halfway deep in the medium and although the medium is moist (half water weight to dry medium weight) the eggs do not have condensation drip on them (a bad thing). When the babies hatch they are very small but quick, so use a tub they cant leap out of.
The mama lizard will bury her eggs in a moist sandy area a few inches deep so when you excavate them be very careful to not alter their orientation as to up and down. The sooner you find them the better, before the embryos attach to the wall of the egg.
The babies will want to eat right away so have pinhead crickets on hand.
Good luck, feel free to ask any questions.

Looks like a gravid female. Give her a habitat with about three inches of clean soil with bark hides, having one corner be a bit moist. She will bury her eggs in the soil.

I used vermiculite in these tubs, works just as well as soil.

Just took this quick one. The small female apparently deferred to one of the larger. Now she's eating. They normally all just work it out.

I feel bad for the male though sometimes. He is a "pet" and I felt bad that he was doing the constant cruising thing looking for a mate. He's a gentle easy going generic, love him to death. I picked up three females for him and I guess living with 3 pretty females isn't all you think it might be?
This is a pic of him last year toward the end of mating season. The females were all in the large moist hide and either he got the boot or he couldn't take being around them anymore and you can see him trying to be as far away from them as possible! Lol

Aww the poor little guy...I guess he got just plain tuckered out, what with three girls. He is a real nice pyro.
