it seems more like prejudice for people who have misconcieved ideas. umm yep. I am not sure about ignornance. More like they HATE snakes. Would you consider Hitler ignornant?

Here in Ga people swerve to run over a snake and try and kill it . Even if they have to risk their kids in the car as they run headlong in the opposing lane to hit it as it tries to scamper off the road. i have seen this so many times.

As they say here in Georgia. The only GOOD a snake is a DEAD snake.

Oh and they like to shoot at turltes with their .22 caliber rifles to. they say the turtles eat the fish eggs and then they can't ctach fish.

Do you know how many of those turtles are fired at from 50 yeards or more away. can you imagine the slow sufferring of them dying with a tiny 22 cal bullet hole.

This is just the way lots of the people are. It seems like you have the extreme tree huggers in Calif and the hateful snake killers in the south east. I wish there were more people who fit inbetween these two groups. But they don't. Seems like people in amric are either one of the other extreme. You don't find this in other countries like south america , europe, middle east.. probably china to. Just north amricans.
