My first 2013 litter......

zenzinia Mar 25, 2013 03:14 PM

First 2013 litter, dominos.
Perfect litter, no still born, no kinked and one slug.
Perfect connected pattern and the tails are even better than in 2004, 2008 and 2010. Yes it’s the third generation but I haven’t bred them with pastels since I have produced some pastel dominos in the past I chosed to look for natural linkes genes and one 2008 pastel domino female is due in may, I’ll find out !

100% dominos in the litter ,… the 2010 male I used proved out to be homozygote.

Best of luck to all and congtats for the first nice 2013 ‘litter produced.

Thanks for looking.

Congratulations Alain .. . . Wow I remember when you started working with the Dominos . .at first they appeared to only have the connected tail pattern but they were crazy colorful; Pastel type Boas from the beginning I thought . . .'
''

Now these are a fully connected pattern all the way down . . .very beautiful Boas . .keep it up Alain ! . . . . .
Keep on making all of these beautiful Boas I luv them all . . . .

All these mutations you seemed to have stumbled onto make me a little jealous . . . I've always wanted to stumble
on a connected pattern Boa mutation that reproduced itself and even possibly had a Homozygous or
as we the Boa people call it "A Super Form" . . . . . .

So much fun Alain . . Again BIG Congrats . . . . .

Thanks Lars,

Here are 3 examples of 2008' dominos. They did not all had full connected like this year. So I decide to only breed the connected ones.
The second picture is the 2013 breeder male I used for this litter looks like he passed his traits.

I don't call him 'super domino' because it's not a super form like jungles ans motelys are. In the hobby homozygote hypos are called super hypo when they just are the homozygote (dominant) version of a dominant gene (het form), you see whet I mean !

Thanks.
Alain.
