Is a sterling considered a double or triple gene snake? Does anyone know if one was ever bred to a butter woma? Just trying to figure out my next project.

....some say pastel and black pastel....2 gene

some say 2 pastel and 1 black pastel....3 gene...

even though it's a double pastel gene...I think of it as 2 genes total....(and people argue about it anyways)...

If you count the numbers of "mutated" chromosome, then it would be 3. (Please note I am using chromosome instead of gene here).

But if you are like me, I calculated the number of different mutated genes.

A sterling would be 2.
Cause 1 for Pastel (even if it's there 2 times) and 1 for Black Pastel / Cinnamon
