Steve just sent me this picture with permission to share. He says that it's tough to capture the real colors with a picture. Still looks pretty awesome. Congrats Steve.

simply amazing- i can't wait for more candino (toffino) crosses to come out this year.
looks just like an albino pin.....
dont think you will ever see a worth while albino/candy/toffee pin due to the lack of black on the pins.
ya never know though!
lol- have you seen candinos as they color-up and their purple comes in?
totally different looking than a hatchling. just wait a few months and we'll see indeed
its not the black part of the pins thats the problem. Its the brown which as in this snake is just too much yellow not enough white/purple color.
just not a good mutation to breed into albinos, candies, etc...
now pieds...thats a different story!
I agree that spiders and pin candinos will have less purple (that's why my candinos will be paired with albino cinnamons and albino black pastels)
In addition to having more purple, the candino super cinnamon will be a completely purple snake
But the yellow of a candino is different (richer) than that of a regular albino as it matures- candino spiders and candino pinstripes will be stunning adults and markedly different that albino pins and spiders.
here's a picture showing the difference in yellows between an albino and candino
