Most of this litter has shed out. They look really good and I cannot wait to watch the IMG babies progress.
I have decided to keep 1.1 back for my greedy self lol
I another shoot with just the natural light coming in my living room. I kept them out of direct sunlight for these shots and used a bounce card to focus some light from the bottom by bouncing direct sunlight. I had to use 1/20 shutter speeds and at ISO 400 ( which caused the slight graininess you can see on the Black BG) to capture enough light so I really had to wait for the moments when the boa was completely still. I liked the effect here but I may still do all the websites with my flash setup. As I found the sun to be really random and trying to time the shoots right when the sunlight was best in my room was tough to time with various weather and clouds. I find with my flash setup I can control an even lighting and white balance every time to really show the difference between all the boas and their colours in relation to each other
Mind you I really like the soft look in these shots and the nice even light with no reflections.
