Fishing Trip Snakey

trevid May 01, 2013 06:43 PM

With apologies to Zach and brian(south city too hot?) we are baking here in the east bay. Went to del valle to drown a few worms and were pleasantly surprised to find a small northern pacific, and cal king today. motto: never leave home without your snake hook! ps. stopped on way home and had kids hair cut!

That's what I call a great fishing trip! Nice snakes and I can taste those filets now.

nice find with that king. i haven't found one in years and that was on a group hike at mt. diablo.

and yes, i'm hella close to 380 and usually on the edge of the fog bank, but it's been miserably clear this week. i have a bad feeling that we're gonna have more than the usual three days over 100 this year...

for everyone's information, no one here has air conditioning. we just suffer through the hot days (luckily the peninsula stays between 55-72 degrees for 95% of the year).

i work with tri-colored west mexican lampropeltis. some morph, some hobby, and some locale.

everyone is entitled to their options, but no one's opinion will ever change how i feel about the snakes i keep and breed.
