Picture Request - Anery Motleys

tcdrover May 05, 2013 05:34 PM

Anyone have any pics of anery motleys that they can post here?

Just had a litter and I'm not sure how to spot them.

If you've got any tail pics of neonates that would be great.

Thanks!

Hey man, sorry for such a slow response to your request but here's what I could find quickly in my photos of babies here!!! Mind you, all of these are 66% PH Albino as well. I think your litters are too, no?! Hope this helps!!!!

Those are nice. I like the tail stripe & the clean dorsal
pattern. Did you get any snows this year?

I think I have a couple but it's not so easy for me to spot them.

There is one that I'm pretty sure is anery but it still hasn't
shed. The nicest normal motley I got, is very dark & looks anery
up to it's tail. It's tail has too much color.

Thank you. These are some of the strongest patterned Motleys from that litter. I also had 6 Ghost Mots that were also nicely patterned, 2 really stood out from the rest like unbelievably .. I kept those too LOL It was my first Motley litter and for what they were going for even in 2011, I couldn't see handing them away when that Anery gene looked so sure. There still isn't many if any Ghost Motleys het Albino or Sunglow Motleys het Anery being sold so I'm ok with holding onto mine for a while.

As for Snows this year.. None of my litters have dropped yet so that's kind of the answer to that. I bred the same Orangasm TH to another virgin Motley this year so we shall see what that did. The litter from these pics and the ones in the other post was also from a virgin Motley male and he produced 34 live and 1 slug and a crazy siamese twin pure white(both of them) moonglow-ish baby that didnt last long. THAT was crazy!! Still wish they would have separated in the egg!! Ughhh

Anyway, I will keep you posted though on my litters! Good luck with all your new little ones !!!!
