What in the world is going on?

So I got this trio of Cal. Kings about two weeks ago from a someone who didn't want them anymore. They were all a bit onthe skinny side, but other than that I figured they were all healthy, they looked it and acted it.

Three days ago, one I had given to a friend, died on her barely a day after having the poor king. I feel horrible for giving a snake to someone and then have it die... This was the most lethargic of all three, and the only one that hadn't eaten for me.

The other two kings I thought were fine until this morning (the day I'm supposed to be shipping one out to another friend). They ate last night (second time), and this morning one is laying oddly in her cage.. dont know how to explain it, she's kind of on her side (not like she is gravid, this is the front part of her body). And then she regurgitates a little bit of last night's meal.

Now I know nothing was wrong with the fuzzy she ate last night. I fed other fuzzies from the last batch to my Carpet python and my bearded dragon.. and they are both fine.

So what in teh WORLD is wrong with my last two kingsnakes? The one that didn't regurgitate seems fine, cept that she's got an attitude problem.

ALl the kings have been away from my established collection of boas, pythons, chameleons, and bearded dragons, since they got here (im a strong believer in quartine :D )

So what is wrong with the kings? Help? I'm not going to be shipping out the last king until I know what's up and if she's okay.

Have you spoken to the previous owner to find out if he had regurg/not feeding troubles and for how long? Also pick his brain about other symptoms he may have observed.

It would be just about impossible to diagnose a problem like this accurately on this forum, and foolish to try. You have snakes dying. It could be anything from previous gross neglect to parasites to something as sinister as Cryptosporidium. If you notice any abdominal lumps ar localized abdominal swelling, Crypto is a prime suspect. Regurgitation is one of the key symptoms for Crypto. DEFINITELY keep them far away from the rest of your collection, make sure that you disinfect yourself before you handle any of your other snakes after handling these Cal-kings and GET THEM TO A VET.
