Albino Tegu Color Phases

varanus Oct 07, 2003 10:36 AM

I was wondering if any one has some pics of the difference between the light phase and the normal color phase of the albino tegu as adults. I checked the St. Pierre's site but I do not see any pics of light phase adults. Also does anyone know if it is a seperate gene or are they like the retics and both phases can come out of the same animals? Thanks!

Rich

Not sure if this answers your questions but albinos all have color unless left in the sun. the more sun they get the whiter they get. Dont have any myself but thats what I've been told by an albino breeder
