Here's some photos I took on a recent herping field trip.

First up a common Garter Snake.

Next up my first hot in the wild. A Wisconsin Timber Rattlesnake (light phase).

Awesome pictures. I am not into poisonus snakes but that is a beauty of a rattlesnake.

Very nice. I suspect the rattlesnake is a real treat to see there as it is in most of its habitats.
