These little guys are coming along nicely. They are 66% for Anery.

It's interesting how much smaller in size my Harlequin neonates
came out compared to my Jungle meets Lipstick litter. They are
almost half the size. I do like 'em smaller.

Here is my keeper pre-shed and after a shed and a few feedings.
My luck, the two I want to keep are both females. I was hoping
for males this year. Last year I had the same thing happen.

Thanks, I'm happy with how they turned out.

I got some bizarre odds with the sex ratios, though.

All the sunglow motleys are female and all the hypo motleys
came out male. All the albino mots that I sexed are female too.

Post some hypo motley pics

Next week I'll post some. They were all coiled up when I took
pics. You can't really see them too good.

There are lots of other pics of those two litters up on my site.

I almost sold all of the jungle hypos wholesale from my other
litter. It's a good thing I waited. They look much better
after shedding and eating a few times.

Great looking saddles on these girls!! I hear ya about the sex ratios though!! Had the same thing happen to me with the sunglow motleys!! Your girls are a lot deeper in reds/oranges than mine ( both ours are prob het anery) but mine were offspring to an original Frank Martin Orangasm Line TH and I think those genetics really are showing through and washing the colors out?! I'd be more than happy to show you pics, I just didnt wanna post pics and take any attention away from your beautiful babies!!!

Thanks, post some pics!

The mother was a weird looking paradox Hypo Harlequin that was
born here a few years ago. She's got this strange, glazed,
subdued colored body.

I kept her because she was freaky looking. The rest of that
litter came out with that great typical Harlequin color. It
looks like she managed to pass it to some of these. She's het
for anery too.

I've had 3 litters, that's it for me this year. My last one was
a Jungle Lipstick litter which is keeping me busy. Those neos
were born huge. I need to handle them or they will get out of
control quick.

Thanks for the reply! The Harlequin pattern is really sweet! I haven't gotten anything with that yet but down the road, who knows! I've been too busy trying to get something consistent when mixing the Hypo and Motley genes! Never know what you're gunna get out of those when they're mixed! lol. THAT will definitely keep you up for ever!

Congrats on all the litters! My girls are going later this season as I paired them all up a month later this last season than in the past. ( Better to consort notes than assume you remember what you did years ago!!! LOL) Should be some pretty nice stuff and will keep the forum updated!
