WOW! Beautiful, Tim! Great looking b&w King. Looks a bit like the ones we see @ one of my fave Kern Co spots. Can you post a pic of the head and neck area? A friend of mine said that the Kings from that area all have neck markings that are specific to that area only. We found a female that I'm guessing was last year's hatch on the same night John Lauerman found that awesome b&w 50/50 he posted on FHF.

Very cool, Tim. Thanks. That is a beautiful desert King!
That area between Barstow and Victorville is an area I've been yearning to herp for quite some time. My friend and I used to go shooting off some of the side roads there back when we were in college, and were surprised to see a Desert Tortoise walking along in one of the washes.
