Hello all, I am in a bit of a bind.
What are the dangers if I leave and the babies are in the cage for the weekend with the mother?
My wife and I had planned to drive from L.A. to San Diego for the weekend.
Last night, my 09 Boa Female started to look like she was going to drop her babies, she was moving around, stretching and this morning she had her tail up and secreted some fluids.
I didn't write down the day of the Post Ovulation Shed, But this is my second litter, and there is already the "distinctive smell" of the birthing process.

I wanted to be around to separate the mother and provide some humidity for the babies as I plan to leave them in the cage.
My family would be disappointed if we didn't go, and with my luck this snake wouldn't drop the babies until the end of the weekend.
What are the dangers if I leave and the babies are in the cage for the weekend with the mother?

Thanks for your help
