Never ever assist feed if you dont know how...guessing since you are new you dont know how...couple questions:

Do they have a hide....helps them sometimes feel secure?

What are you trying to feed them....try live hoppers if you are feeding hoppers try stunning the hopper?

Are you watching them as they think about eating? You should drop in food and walk out of the room...check back in 15 min.

Raised 100's of BP only ever had to assist feed 4...if you have half a clutch it is not the snakes....it the owner most of the time.

Got questions you can call me...717-608-7424...not an expert but maybe I can help.

Damm! travis you are right, thanks for taking time to write me back, i do remember that i read something about that hatchlings are ver shy, it seems these are my newbie mistakes.

So. they dont have hide box, they were very thirsty, i was using a small water bowl i changed it for a bigger and they inmediatly went to have a quick dip.

I read about assit feeding, some videos over internet, did it once with an adult, but you know hatchs are very very fragile.

crossing fingers, did all that in your recomendations, ill try tomorrow night to feed again, oh! im breeding my own mice and rats, im using 1 week mice pinky to feed em.

Thanks Travis

I got baby ball pythons who wouldn't eat until 2 months.

May be by offering live, they would have eat sooner, but I don't do it.

I offer pretty warm FT hopper rat, about 50% would eat after 2 weeks. Then 25-40% the week after. The others can take 1 to 1.5 month.

I had to assist feed twice. I still have one of theses in my collection, and that female have never stop eating since then. She is now pretty big.

Be sure all other criteria are met, temperature, humidity (I put my babies at a higher level when I can) and always clean things. Some will be stress out if they see other babies in the containers next to them also.
