Earthworms?

pinatamonkey Oct 07, 2003 01:19 PM

I noticed a brown anole today picking at a dried earthworm. He was biting at it, swinging it around, and finally broke a piece off, then scampered away once he saw me.
So has anyone fed an earthworm to their anole? Did it eat it? Or do they just like the crusty ones, like my dogs

Sometimes I put a few cut up pieces of earthworm in my green anole cage, and he just gobbles them up.

So where do you get earthworms from? Just dig them up yourself? I don't recall ever seeing those at the pet stores - but then again, I wasn't really looking for earthworms...
