Dragon snake???

So I just found out about a snake called a dragon snake and if looks amazing. There is almost no info on them and I was wondering if anyone on here had heard of them. Is anyone working with them?

I'm guessing the "dragon snake" you're referring to is Xenodermus javanicus. They were imported to the US a few years ago but nothing survived from what I understand. There were a fair amount imported to Britain as well but none of them survived either... including an albino.

They are semi-fossorial and feed on frogs in fast moving waters. My guess is that people fed them prey that ultimately built up toxins (almost all frogs are toxic to some degree) or that they were kept too moist. Either way there aren't any left in the hobby I think but I've been trying to get some, just not sure what they'll end up costing.
