If none of this had taken place, and one of the news stations aired footage of Saddam's atrocities, all of you Europeans would be sitting back in your cozy little nests saying..."America is supposed to be the superpower, why don't they do something to get rid of that tyrant?

I know that we don't agree with a lot of each others points. But I for one am happy the U.S. is here and I applaud them for taking out Saddam whatever the reasons. An awful lot of people feel the same way. I'll still question what I see as deciet and hypocrisy but it doesn't mean I don't like having you as neighbours. Except for DevonP, he can bite me

You can't be serious. After all the Anti-American "jargon" and Bush-bashing diarrhea you've filled this forum with, you now claim that you are "happy the U.S. is here and I applaud them for taking out Saddam WHATEVER THE REASONS"! Then you say "it doesn't mean I don't like having you as neighbors". You've never had one nice thing to say about our country or the people in it! Quite the contrary. Pick a side of the fence and stay there hypocrite!!!

No I'm not. I can criticize a government and still admire the country at the same time. I can't stand my own government at the present time. It doesn't mean I hate my fellow Canadians or that my own government doesn't do things that I approve of as well. Dissent and debate are the hallmarks of Western civilization. If you're that freaked out by stern debate or criticism I suggest ou stay away from forums such as these. People can hold passionate opinions without disliking each other. I have nothing personal against you, I just don't agree with what you have to say, because let's face it, you're wrong .

Why don't you go find a Canadian chat room to "debate" the things that you "can't stand" about your pathetic government? Nobody will miss you here, but that doesn't mean that we don't like you.
