Spinish Safe? m/p

can I feed it to my year old beardie? I think I spelt spinish wrong.The dark green veggy that popeye eats

I have read that you should not feed spinach to your dragon. I forget the reason why but I know you arent suposed to. Maybe someone else can add the info why?

If I remember correctly Spinach is high in Oxidates which have been shown to prevent the absroption of calcium in humans. They are generally considered unsafe for Dragons to eat.

is variety, if you use spinach in small amounts, use lower oxalate foods as the main staple of the greens salads. Its a balance, one may very high in good things, while another is high and something else that is needed by their system.

Here is a link to a salad diet and food they like that was balace with Calciums, phosphorus, oxalate, antioxidents and other vitamins.
