if you dont mind heavy and you dont mind your bins having lids this is cheap to build from the laminated white melamine that is sold at home depot as closet wood. take 3, 3 foot boards and 2, 4 foot boards cut the 2 foot boards in half and cut one of the 3 footers down to 2 feet as this will be a 5th shelve. go to walmart and buy your tubs your new rack will hold 5 28qt. or 10 12qt pick what you need. when assembling the rack first set your bottom shelve on a workbench or table. second set your first 3 foot side board up against the bottom shelf on its right hand side and screw in from side. 3 screws will do it. next get you other 3 foot side and attack to the other side of your bottom shelf. now you should have 2 standing sides and a bottom shelf. for the rest place one 28 qt bin with the lid on the bottom shelf and lay the next shelve on top of the bin line up with sides and screw in. now you pull the bin out of its place and move it up to do the next shelve and so on to the top. as for heat and backer you use one 11 or 12 inch piece of heat tape 3 feet long centered in the middle of the shelves before installing the backer and you can use your choice of cheep backer such as dry erase board or something thin like that you will have a rim around the sides and back of this rack wich keeps stuff from falling off or as a leg for a second rack that you can stack on top later when your collection grows and yes it will grow...lol let me know if you have any questions
