Arwen in her new cage

Bezzerra Oct 07, 2003 02:47 PM

About two weeks ago, I moved Arwen into a bigger cage- a 45 gallon breeder tank. I was going to build one but I got a great deal on the aquarium.

I had just turned on the lights so the temps are low and before you say anything about the substrate>>>>>> I know everyone's opinion on it. (Not to sound mean but I didn't want this post to turn into a substrate war.)

Anyway, I just wanted to share a picture of the new cage. I think she likes it a lot. She still likes to fall asleep on my chest, though. Spoiled little thing>>> but I love it!

I have similar tables and Im thinking you might want to get something more sturdy, if you bump into it, it could fall over..

just a suggestion, the tank itself looks very nice...

Life is what happens when you are making other plans.......

The cage was supported by two tables up against the wall so there wasn't much of a chance it was going to fall. But thank you for your concern, though! It was a temporary stand until we bought what we have the cage on now which is a black iron stand made especially for that size tank.

It still amazes me how much money I spend on her when I still need new tires! LOL.
