i have a 6 ft female colombian red tail boa, she is about 11 years old........whats the average size of red tails

It all depends on how much you feed it, how much exercise it gets, also it's lineage. But 5-7 feet is the norm with Colombians although some can reach 8 feet. Yours appears in the normal range.

thank you the reason i asked was i spoke to an "expert" and he said she would get 15 ft, although he has never kept a red tail just king snakes...............he also suggested i feed her every three to four days, im not treating her right feeding every week according to him.....she eats 3 large rats every week or a f/t dwarf rabbit when i can find them.

No way I would feed the snake every 3-4days. I would feed it one large rat every two or three weeks. I feed my boa's one XL rat once a month and they do just fine.
