switching juveniles to f/t

How hard is it to switch a baby on live to f/t? Currently having a problem with a baby pastel not taking either so before I purchase a baby i want on live thought I'd ask for help here....

It all depends on the snake. I've had some that take f/t as there first meal. And some that never do. Try prekilled first off tongs and then try to switch from there. If your current snake isn't eating there must be something wrong with it's enclosure. Could be heat, to much or not enough. Same with the humidity. Or it could be to large for the snake. Not enough hides. They need to feel safe in order to be brave enough to eat. That's why I like the gray tubs, they feel more secure in them. As they get bigger they start to chill out more, and most won't even need a hide box. I hope this helps.

Around 95% of my babies switch easily...just use long tongs so your hand is not in their face and make sure it's warmed up a bit.
