Dry grasses for redfoot and yellow foot torts --

honuman Oct 07, 2003 03:06 PM

Posted this earlier go no responses so I thought I would try again. Just wondering if anyone feeds orchard grass or any types of dry grasses to Their redfoot and or yellowfoot. Mine love green grasses and clover. Just curious if this another good food option for them.

Thanks
Steve

My Cherryheads seem to like to graze (st augustine, bermuda...) moreso than normal redfoots. They don't go much for hays though.

Thanks Ed. Guess I will stick to fresh grasses then. They do seem to like them.
