I have a normal that I got for my 12th birthday and I love him. He is over 20 now. They don't have to be a morph to be good pets. Though I would take a pretty morph any day. Love them all.

I wouldn't be too concerned yet. With ball pythons its not uncommon for them to go weeks or even months without taking a meal. You don't need to worry until it starts to lose weight or shows any sign of sickness. (cough, discharge from mouth, strange color or odor stool, etc.) good luck!
