Yellow tail size

Python_Jay Oct 07, 2003 05:01 PM

Hey,
I was wondering how big yellow tails grow to be? because I've always wanted them but I've never had the money (up here in canada they are like 1500 lol) but yeah they have decided to place a by law where I live and I was wondering if I should buy a pair now before the by law is passed so I have them on on the "grand father clause". Or if they stay under the size limit then I'm good and I can just wait. haha I'm goin out crazy lately I just got a burm and two scrubs are comming lol

Thanx Justin

My source puts them to around 250 cm.

That's a little over 8' which would be more typical...but I've had a female well surpass that.

Males have been know to reach 10' (over 3 meters)

Actually the largest I ever heard of was 11 ft. I just went for the average.
