Splendida Locales

Anyone know much on these guys. I know there is a nice line of River Road but anyone working with others as well?

Hitting the show this weekend, anyone else?

I've heard of Alpine, TX and Hueco Mtns., TX but don't know for sure who's working with them. Shannon Brown used to work with Alpine's but I'm not sure if he still does.

The Alpine local is very nice IMHO, with full speckling on the sides, black and bright yellow colors and long sockheads.

The Hueco's have the same basic pattern as the Alpine's but their coloration can be black and white, which is rare and stunning.

Thanks Aaron, these guys can be great lookers. Seems though there is not much interest in these lately. I was hoping to see some in Daytona but not many locale specific Colubrid people plan on attending. I'll start putting out feelers for these guys perhaps early next season and try again then.

Kerby had some nice looking Splendida on his website. He's in AZ.

I have some Green Valley, AZ eggs cooking and I have a pair of South of Alpines coming up to breeding size.

I used to breed 5 South Texas localities years ago....awesome animals.....IMHO
