Breeding ideas?

zamatattoo Aug 12, 2013 12:09 PM

Breeder size males:
Butter
Cinnamon
Mojave
Yellow Belly
Genetic Stripe

Breeder size Females:
Normal Reduced Pattern
Normal
Normal
Normal

I am a new to breeding but have been setting up and researching for around 5 months. I have spent time with other breeders and am very comfortable with the set-up I have, racks, heat, humidity, feeding, book and hearing knowledge. I am new to breeding but, do not need negative feed back. Just helpful advice, please.

I am looking to breed the best combos I can and realize it will take a lot of time. My breeders are what I have and unless I can find something better (and the money to buy them) this is what I have to work with.

My list that will not be to size this year are:
100% Het. Albino Female (sister to albino female)
Albino Female (sister to 100% het. albino female)
Albino Male (not related to sisters)
Cinnamon Female
Het. Piebald Female (was not told it was 100% or any other%)
100% Het. Genetic Stripe Female
Pastel Female

Keep the G stripe male...sell the butter the cinny the mojo and YB and buy a dbl gene or trip gene male breeder to go to your 3 normals...dont buy anymore males until you have completed groups of 1.3 for every male
Just my opinion and I could be wrong.

Than you for your feedback. I would love to get a two or three gene male or female. Just seems out of my reach. Maybe I will take the other males to this sundays expo and see what happens.

Thanks again,
Jason
