I picked up 2.3 Currituck County chain kings in Daytona. They are smaller and skinnier than I had hoped. Only one ate a thawed pink when I got home so these are going to be a problem I suspect.

couple tips...
smaller enclosures
several secure tight hides
deep substrate
best range of temp. gradients that you can achieve.
offer f/t nightly, after that may have to try live if still a no go have to go with scenting technics

Baby easterns can be a pain to get started. I have some locale from Jasper County SC who were tough to start. Do you have any small frogs in your area? I have gotten them going with cricket frogs (Acris) or chorus frogs (Pseudacris). After one or two of these they ate pinky mice with no problem.
